A Message from Pastor John Krueger

What I appreciate most about Gethsemane Lutheran Church and School is the relationship we have with God and with one another. God is the source of all that is, and God is the One who initiates a relationship with us. When people were separated from Him by going their own way, God sent His eternal Son, Jesus, the Christ, to the world to give His life and restore a perfect relationship based on forgiveness.

One of the things Jesus taught was that we are to love God first, and others as ourselves. This, then, the people of Gethsemane strive to do in their personal lives and in our congregational life together.

Jesus' other major command was that we reach out to others, so they, too, may know of the overwhelming nature of God's love. So you, explorer of our website, are warmly invited to investigate our Christian community. I know there is a place for you.
