IN THE BODY OF CHRIST
IS TO BE HIGHLY PRIZED!
Members at Gethsemane can be received in any of three ways:
transfer from another Lutheran congregation;
profession of faith (confirmed Lutherans who have no current
church membership);
confirmation after attending our informational Christian
Basics class. Christian Basics is Pastor John’s introduction to the Christian
faith from a Lutheran point of view, running for a period of nine weeks, meeting
for one hour Sundays at noon, following the third church service (child care
available). Classes announced quarterly, usually the end of September, the end
of January, and after Easter.
